 Every spring JAUDA goes to technology and engineering trade-fair to Hannover Messe. Despite global economic crises this year is not an exception. It is the largest industrial fair in the world with more then 200 000 visitors, and 95% of them are industry professionals. Hannover Messe 2009 covers around 200 000 m2. This year more than 6000 companies from 60 countries announced their participation in exhibition. It’s already sixty two years since trade fair is organised and thirteen’s since "JAUDA" will take part. From 1997 Jauda has missed none. In 1997 president of Latvia Guntis Ulmanis also took part in fair together with Latvian businessmen and that was the most successful year in this time period. Before that "JAUDA" specialists visited "Hannover Messe" only as visitors, learning about innovations and developments in electrical engineering, power industry, automation’, Electronics as well as in other fields of engineering. But after 1997 company specialist, besides participation in Messe, visited stands of other companies and learned what innovations could be adopted for products produced by "JAUDA". Impressions from Messe were also one of drivers for modernisation and innovations in company’s products. As a result in 2008 compact transformer substation KTAb-6523 received the second prize of "Innovative product" in "Export and Innovation Award 2008" organised by Ministry of Economics of Latvia. This product is on demand not just in Latvia, but well beyond its borders. It complies with European standards and last year JAUDA received certificate that compact transformer substation also complies with GOST standards of Russian Federation.
