Cable commutation distributors are for low voltage cable line branching and sectioning, as well as protection from overload and short circuit in networks with ground neutral. The boxes are fixed in the concrete or metal base. Cable boxes are divided into: - KS – cable distribution cabinets
- LUKS– cable box (for installation together with LU distribution box)
- AKS – cable distribution cabinets AKS with inbuilt insulated bus IP system (ABB Kabeldon) is for low voltage cable plug in. Cabinets' degree of protection: IP 44. Cable box AKS-I is for in ground installation, but AKS-II, AKS-III and AKS-IV are for installation on metal or reinforced concrete foundation, which has to be ordered separately.
